Job Location
- Posting Shall Be at any of the Station/ Projects/ JVs/ Subsidiaries Of NTPC.
- All Posts Are Transferable at the sole discretion of the management.
Age Limit
| Minimum Age Limit | 20 Years |
| Maximum Age Limit | 45 Years |
- Candidates claiming to belong to any particular category shall necessarily have a valid EWS/OBC/SC/ST certificate, as the case may be, from the Competent Authority.
- Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Relaxation of age to Ex-Serviceman will be as per Govt. guidelines.
- Where there are identified vacancies for SC / ST candidates, in terms of educational qualification, only pass marks are required by SC/ST candidates in order to apply.
Educational Qualification
- Full Time Engineering Degree In Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil/ Production/ Chemical/ Construction/ Instrumentation from a recognized University/ Institute With Minimum 60% marks.
- Diploma/ Advance Diploma/ PG Diploma In Industrial Safety From Central Labor Institute/ Regional Labor Institute, Govt. of India.
Salary
- Level Of Recruitment: E0 Grade
- Pay Scale For Recruitment: IDA ( Rs. 30,000/- To 120,000/- )
Selection Process
- In order to restrict the number of candidates, if so required, the management reserves the right to conduct multi-stage selection process which may comprise of application shortlisting / screening (based on qualification / percentage of marks etc.)/written / computer-based test / personal interview or combination of the above as deemed fit by the management.
- Online selection test (if any) will have two parts i.e Subject Knowledge Test(SKT) & Executive Aptitude Test (EAT). The candidates are required to qualify both in Subject Knowledge Test(SKT) and Executive Aptitude Test (EAT), separately.
- Candidates are required to indicate their choice for test centers at the time of online application.
- NTPC reserves the right to change the test centers depending upon the response/ feasibility.

- Marks conversion formula from the university/Institute for conversion of marks in CPGA/CGPI/DGPA/CGI/CPI etc. into percentage (%)
- Safety Diploma – (Final/Provisional certificate), Final year or Consolidated Marksheet/Transcript clearly indicating aggregate % of marks in all semesters
- Class X passing certificate /Marksheet for Name and DOB proof
- Aadhar Card and PAN Card
- Caste certificate (For SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates) as applicable
- OBC-NCL certificate should be in central format for the current financial year (FY 2024-25)
- EWS candidates need to submit current year Income & Asset certificate in the prescribed
Application Fees
- General/EWS/OBC = Rs. 300/-
- SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Female = Nil
- Candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/-.
- The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category & female candidates need not pay the application fee.
- Candidates also have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available in the online application form
- Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility criteria before paying the application fee.
- After applying online, candidate is required to download the application slip generated by the system with unique application number.
- Copy of application slip may be retained by the candidate for future reference. No document is required to be sent to us by post.
